one word to describe this camp.
"shag"
this was one of the orientation camp i been to, whose programmes were jammed packed.. always stretching itself to the very next morning. out of the 6 days, only 1 day did the day programme ended before 2 am in the morning. it was a tiring orientation camp, one which successful did it part in bonding the people together. it was fun, for the takan squad (programmers) even though we had to double up as logistic on many occasions. haha.
our job as the programmers, includes the main task of carrying out the programmes, takaning the freshies along the whole, moving logistic stores, performing first aid and immediate response to emergency. it was a bad job.. i supposed. haha. guaranteed insufficient sleep, minimal welfare, sure ponded at least once, whacked by water bombs, no claims for transport. lol.
despite the fact as i mentioned above, many of us still pushed on, day after day.. giving what the freshies ought to deserve.. making their money worth while. to me, it was a valuable experience, making friends, learning the way of relationship in foc. hopefully, this would do me some good during my hall camp.. hahaha.
3 cheers for XL's programmers.
3 cheers and 3 cheers and 3 cheers for programmers,
hip-hip hoo-ray,

hip-hip hoo-ray.
see you all in school. =)

8th july 2008
this day was pretty rush for her. little details, stuffs to keep in mind prior to the flight to australia. i was there to help her partially, but more of a bell boy to carry her 14kg luggage. haha. (no complaints about that, more that willing to do so.)
there is always that moment before you leave the house, you would turn back to recall if you had missed out on anything. somehow, it always happened. she left behind something that was rather essential, a pair of sunglasses. (sorry :( i couldn't really help much with the packing..)
the journey to the airport was pretty fast.. 45mins. i stoned pretty much on the way, with her dozing off beside me. (last time to feel her warmth before she comes back in 2 weeks time.) then, we reached the airport with no sign of avni shah. (late as usual. haha) not long after, avni came, along with her family. lol.. seeing them, reminds me of the pris's preference. (her friends says that she likes indian, wah lau.. thanks huh)
a hug and a light peck on the lip to send her off. moments after she pass through the gates, i was overwhelmed with emotion that i acutally teared. it was beyond my control.. good thing, that avni family didnt notice that, or maybe they didn't comment on it. so pai seh.
ps. i miss you!
