ps. i particularly like this sentence. very meaningful. indeed.
"别人都说 我和你之间的关系 没有人相信只有关心"

i know i should have posted these pictures long long time ago. aiya, i can't upload the pictures from my sony ericsson phone. its a known vista compatibility issue. this operating system can't recognise my phone when i plugged it in. sigh. so so.. i had to resort to sending all those pictures i took via the infra-red port. erm.. as a matter of fact, it takes a long time. can't really compared with the blazing speed of the USB port. anyway, i am glad that i managed to transfer the pictures over to my lappy at the very end.

this is one of the food stall that my friend recommend me to try it out. this stall is located at one of the famous heartland area, toa payoh central. its a 2 storey kopi tiam and it is always crowded. haha.. erm, i can't remember the exact address of the kopi tiam, but i still remember the way there. from the 3 pictures, we can see some standard. a bit about the background of this owner of the stall, he previously works in a restaurant. upon retirement, he wanted to share all the delicacies with the general population, at a much affordable price. at a price below $10, you can eat to your fill as the serving is really generous and the food is really appealing. for those who have high metabolism rate like me (fan tong? haha), you can order a plate of rice to go with the main dish.

from top down:
1) chicken cutlet
2) fish and chips
3) stewed beef
its a pity that none of us had tried their specialty, the lamb dish which cost around $9 plus. probably because we wanted to try something that normally people would eat rather than the lamb dish, although i must say that the lamb dish really appealed to me, so much so that i wanted to order that one after i had my chicken cutlet. wahahaha. what a glutton i am, i know. maybe next time, i will consider eating that first.
verdict: die die must try. no regrets.

preoccupied
Wednesday, September 26, 2007,

having spent the past 2 days doing projects and nothing else. its really exhausting, especially when i had to squeeze a intensive floorball training in between. shag shag.

project 1: design project 60% completed, though we met with some problems and shortage of materials along the way, i am glad that we are slightly ahead of time. haha. just need to do up the report and minor adjustment to the build up of the mechanism, we could be well sit back and relax one corner. haha.

project 2: tech comm. 20% completed. we spent the whole day doing research, sourcing out all the e-journals which turned out to be rather fruitful. had to thank eugene for writing out the content page and setting the direction for our report writing. thanks again. must jia you everyone. we aimed to complete this within 2 more weeks.

project 3: lab report. only 10% completed. hmm.. think i need to put in more effort should i want to complete it or at least finish the experimental analysis by end of this week. haiz. going to work on it tomorrow.

ps. thinking of renting car next time we go out. just $55, exclusive of the petrol though. its going to worth the money, thats if we travel to several places in a day. think about, okay? sorry for that night, wasn't supposed to be pissed off. mis-communicated that night. next time can make the plans clearer? haha.

still adapting
Wednesday, September 19, 2007,

its been err.. 6 days since i last moved from block 41 to 42. its a totally change of environment. everything is new to me. from the most basic stuff like what time does the heater switches off, to things like who are my neighbours. surely, all this stuff gonna take some time for me to figure, given a little bit of opportunity. for the time being, i am going to wander around, seeking my place in the hall. somehow, the recognition from the hall mates is kind of important.

sigh. seriously i am missing the bit of laughter from shu pei, jeremy and company. the lame jokes they cracked. those happy moments, those good old times, although i am usually missing in action. no doubt, i still prefer to stay in blk 41. haha. love the afternoon sun that makes the room much more vibrant rather than this room situated next to the forest. all the animal calls.. (waiting for a creepy crawly to break through the wire mesh, haha).

for now, just cast away all those negative thoughts and concentrate on more important stuffs.

ps. 2 weeks to the final ivp selection / cut down to 25 people. needless to say, its not gonna be easy, but i will still give it my best, for this is one of the goals to fulfill.

threadless
Sunday, September 16, 2007,

i recently bought 2 t-shirts from the website, called www.threadless.com. their designs are kind of cool and unique. although its only printed in usa, that doesn't translated to hefty price tags. in fact, each piece cost around $19 dollars, inclusive of shipping fee. wow, that kind of cheap, don't ya agree with me?

for a t-shirt design that you are quite unlikely to find another in singapore, it definitely worth the money. trust me on that. even though, i kind of regreted providing this website down. this will inevitably mean that more people will buy t-shirt from this webby. well, good stuffs are meant to be shared. haha.

btw, there is another website that my friend had set up, selling ladies clothes. the address is as followed, www.spree-alittle-spree.blogspot.com. ladies, there are nice clothes for sale at affordable prices. below $20.

ps. i don't earn commission by advertising for them. seriously. if only there are such good deals available.

erm.. okay.
Friday, September 14, 2007,

just 1 more week to tide through.. cant wait for it.
seriously, i need to rethink my working attitude.
work comes before play. that's the motto.

there is always been this phrase,"work hard, play hard."
even my friend sufiyan agreed that it is rather impossible
to juggle them to a balance. haiz. in the midst of pursuing
of the short term goal, i started to question whether is this
really what i wanted?? only time will reveal everything.

i need a break, to catch up on everything.
cant stop for a breather now, full steam ahead.
all for a single clause. to graduate from this school.
fun is a secondary objective. haha.
its going to be a dull life this way.

ok.. its the end of season
Monday, September 03, 2007,

as the title suggested, we didn't make it past the quarter final in our quest. sigh. it wasn't expected to end just like this. it was our game, we should have won that match. well? who could we blame? beside ourselves, we could still push the blames to the 2 rookie referees, whose name i shall disclosed once i get them! in a way, the poor refereeing cost us our match, like the previous match against PY.
right from the start, one look will tell that they suck at refereeing. the coach louise said that, pinky said that, even any spectator could tell that. (ok, i know i am being biased here, i don't really care). maybe, they had these tags hanging around their neck that says,"i am indecisive, easily swayed and i make wrong calls all the time!". here is an example that ocurred during the game,"we commited a slashing foul, and the referee decided to give a free hit, blew the whislte. upon hearing the whistle, everyone stopped the play. however, the opponent decided to play on with it, scoring the goal in the midst of the confusion. seeing that, the referee decided its an advantage being played. the thing is, if you want to play advantage, you don't blow the whistle." it is 2 different situations, i wonder how they passed their referee test? it makes people boils, loses focus during the game.. seriously.. i wished i could had their license revoked, they totally sucked at refereeing. jumping to their defence, some might say that perhaps they are new and inexperienced, we shouldn't blame them.

HEY! you should know that we viewed this match seriously. being rookies, you shouldn't had taken up the task of refereeing this match, thinking that its a easy $20 money. totally disappointed with the SFA and the organiser. we paid so much for the registration fee and yet we get this sub-standard referees.. WTF! pissed off by them! (although, you might learn something during the course of the match, but its too high a price to pay for both teams to have you rookie referees to ref this match. its just not the time. you get what i meant?)

after reading this, some of you might have formed the impression of me being a sore loser. well, that wouldn't be the case, if you know me well enough. "its just a game only." that's what i commonly says. in other words, i am not the sore loser kind of person.

it is really agonizing to end a season like this. there is really nothing else we could have done, but just sincerely hope that the EL DORADO all the best for their future games in this season.. (but i seriously doubt they could beat RP, who is so much better than them.)

rough fair play

ps. i didn't really manage to score any goals during the game, though i think i got 2 hit-post shots.. darn.. didn't make full use of my chances. sorry about that. for all the penalty takers, you guys did your best already. also, zi wei and andrew, thanks for all saves u guys made during the game. plus the seniors, thanks for coming down to play for us, we couldn't have come so far without your help. certainly, we will welcome you guys back. (erm.. just keep your physical in check. lol.)

great season, from zero to blizzards. it was nice playing along side with everyone of you.
