Engineering
Innovation
Design

after 5 weeks of slogging day after day, after day. our effort finally paid off.. it was to the point that we had to dragged ourselves off the bed everyday, working on the prototype till it became a routine. 5 weeks passed just like that.. even though it ate into out precious holiday, i am glad that i got to know one big brunch of people.

we were made of 11 guys and 1 girl 12 guys. (i will try to come up with the photo if possible, hahaha). actually, there were quite a few more people behind the scene, whom include some parents of our team mates, the lab technician, the 2 professors. without their help, we wouldn't have constructed the prototype, let alone think of winning. credits goes to everyone that help us. one big thank you to all of you. we did them proud, clinching the 1st prize in our category (environment and safety) and appearing on the tv as well (i think i looked retard on the tv, haha).

here's what written on the net. http://www.straitstimes.com/Free/Story/STIStory_246199.html

"School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering second-year student Tan Kai Yong, 23, and his 11 other teammates came up with an adjustable belt system that allows three children to sit on a bench seat meant for two adults, without compromising their safety. "
