having to rest for close to 2 weeks from the last group stage match, we once again embarked on our way to win the championship, our ultimate goal. we were be facing the la dorado in the quaterfinal tomorrow, another relatively strong team from the group b. some suggested to bring camera because it could well, be our last match for this season. haiz, the sad reality of the knockout stage.
anyway, our captain had stressed that we don't think about all the photo taking thingy. we are
superstitious, very much like the hall 8. pan thaim in hokkien. we shouldn't have that losing mentality. afterall, we had always put in all the effort in the trainings, listening earnestly to the coach etc.. we
want to win this match, don't want to be stopped in our tracks. we gonna put in the 110% effort in tomorrow game. die dies also must win.
for
victory, fight till the end.

for those who wanted to watch the floorball match, feel free to drop by tampines sport hall at 8 pm, 1st sep. its free admission, seriously. jac, will you be coming down again? haha.
ps. angie, do make sure you are free on the weekend, 2 weeks from now. hope to see you in the semi final. haha. still lagging abit in my work... gonna mug mug and more mugging.

its dinner and dance tomorrow and i haven't figured out what to put on..
lol. i am sure i am not the only one facing this problem right now. a brief chat with my juniors yesterday night at study room had revealed the same problem.
we don't want to
overdress for this event.
we
don't have the appropriate clothes.
we
don't want to spend this
unnecessary money.
we
want to wear something
less formal and yet comfortable.
if we are
deny enter, we are glad in getting ourselves
refunded $38.
why can't we just wear long sleeves shirt together with a pair of jeans? and perhaps include a nice jacket / blazer? sigh..
ps. happy 21st birthday
wei loon. even though we didn't bought any cake for you, we do hope that the birthday cards would make up for it. anyway, just enjoy your new found freedom and take good care of yourself, cos seems that everyone living at hostel is falling ill.

yesterday, i stepped into cold storage, located at compass point.
i took a turn into the wine section, knowing what i wanted to buy.
i doubled check the sms i received from my brother days ago.
rosemount diamond cellar. unique bottle design, square base.
it was on discount, going at a price of $21. its a good deal, i suppose.
i picked up the last bottle, thinking that it must be really nice.
approaching the cashier, she asked,"are you over 15?".
"what? please leh, I already 20 plus."
wah lau, cant believe what she had just said.
i was thinking, do i really looked that young?
or am i dressed too young for my age?
must be the headphone bah? haha.
guessed its too hip for my age.
ps. once again, thanks jac for coming down to support despite your busy schedule. update to my floorball quest, we had made it to the quarter finals. match on the following weekend. meantime, i got quite a bit of tutorials and projects to catch up on.

cut the queue

its been a week plus already.. i still find it difficult to wake up exceptionally early to catch the train and bus to school, just to be on time. so far i haven't been on time for the morning lessons, well except that day i happened to bunk in on my ex roomie, alan's room for a night. most of the time, i had to resort to cutting the bus 179 queue almost every morning. i know, its very inconsiderate... but what to do? even if i don't do that, someone else will. its either i wake up even earlier (meaning giving up some of the beauty sleep), or i can just pon the lecture? haha. definitely not the latter option. its just not me. so for now, i still have to continue to tehan the early morning and late nights due to the floorball training. i need a room.. arghhhhhh...
maybe i should just apply for legal squatting?? i am still considering the pros and the cons, of course the tenants must be willing lah. oh ya, got another friend, jian tong who is considering to rent out his room to me.. hmm.. but its hall 11. he kind of unhappy with the hall 11 president, for all the false hope and preception presented to his girlfriend. but seriously, i think you shouldn't act too fast, later regret your decision you made abruptly.
well, i have been repeating all these for all this while. maybe i should quit whinning.. SHUT UP.. and drag my ass out every morning, attending school, training. hopefully get a place in hall on my own accord, becoming a IVP. but i don't see myself moving towards that particular goal. haha..
motivation, i need you.

fRESHMEN oRIENTATION cAMP

all and all, it is still an enjoyable freshmen orientation camp despite all the hiccups, the ample slack time..haha. the whole idea of this camp is to orient the freshmen to the new environment, bonding them together as 1 entity. hall 8. like what shu pei said during the foc, everyone have different expectations of the foc, some think its good, others think its sucky. whatever it is, everyone did their very best to put this thing together, BONDING every freshmen together in the process. for that, we must say thanks to all the main comm, logistics, sub comm and not forgetting all those senior who took their time off to participate in this yearly foc. also, not forgetting the freshmen juniors now, who took their initiative to bond among themselves, which is kind of absent back during our batch. lol.
ps. want to thanks joleen, my boss who tolerated with my nonsense and somewhat unreasonable requests. another person to thank is qin long who is so called my upperstudy..lol. want to thank him all being there always in case of emergency, hiccups. really nice to work with him, cos he did a good job saving everyone skins. seriously. another person to thank is my buddy, yue you. yup, she initiated the buddy thingy which i am more than happy, don't wait for me to start something. anyway, it was definitely more fun to have her around. haha. ask the seniors, certainly they will agree.
hope everyone enjoyed the camp in one way or the other.
